How to build Krusty Krab in Minecraft

Home of the Krabby Patty. The Krusty Krab is a giant lobster trap: plank walls between log poles tied with rope, porthole windows, big wooden front doors and a blue barrel roof on wooden hoops, topped with the red KRUSTY KRAB sign and its crab claw. Inside are boat-shaped tables, Squidward's order boat in front of the kitchen porthole, the grill where SpongeBob flips patties and Mr. Krabs' office with his money. It sits on the sandy sea floor with coral, kelp and jellyfish, ready to go next to the Pineapple.

Building tips

1. Build the walls in alternating rows of oak and spruce planks, then add the spruce log posts one block proud of the wall so they cast shadows.
2. The roof is a half-ellipse arch running east to west. Do one cross-section first, then copy it along; every fifth slice is a raised wooden hoop.
3. Portholes are a 3×3 glass square with the corners swapped for the iron rim, so they look round.
4. Put the sign on a white board so the red letters pop, and stand it on the front edge of the roof with log posts behind it.
5. The boat tables are a slab table on a fence post, with stairs pointing out at each end for the bow and stern.
6. Build it in a warm ocean with real coral and kelp, or on sand as here. Sea lanterns inside look great at Night.
