How to build Patrick's Rock in Minecraft

Patrick Star lives under a rock, and here it is: a lumpy brown dome with a little weathervane on top, sitting on the sandy Bikini Bottom sea floor. Peek under the front edge and Patrick is lying on his back in a hollow, a pink starfish in his green shorts with purple flowers, happily doing nothing.

Building tips

  1. Build the dome as stacked circles that get smaller as they go up: radius 6, 6, 5, 5, 4, 3 and then a tiny cap. Only the outer ring of each circle is needed.
  2. Mix brown concrete with brown terracotta so the rock looks lumpy and natural instead of flat.
  3. Patrick is pixel art laid flat on the floor of the hollow. Lay the pink star first, then swap in the shorts and his face.
  4. Dig the hollow one block down so Patrick sits below the sand, just like in the cartoon.
  5. Build it beside the Pineapple Under the Sea and Squidward's House to make the whole street.
