How to build Pizza Planet Truck in Minecraft

The beat-up yellow Pizza Planet pickup that turns up in nearly every Pixar film. It has a little white rocket strapped to the cab roof, a few rust spots, round headlights, a stack of pizza boxes in the back and the famous "YO" tailgate (the rest of the letters fell off years ago). A giant three-eyed squeaky alien rides in the truck bed. Behind it a big PIZZA PLANET sign with a ringed planet and a rocket lights up the car park, and next to the truck is a claw machine packed with little green aliens waiting for The Claw to choose them.

Building tips

  1. Build the truck in three boxes: a long low yellow base, a taller cab in the middle and an open bed at the back. The bed is just four walls with no roof.
  2. The YO tailgate is the back wall of the bed. Lay the two letters in black on the yellow, 3 blocks wide each with one block between them.
  3. For the roof rocket, make a white bar three wide and two tall, then add a red nose cone in front, red fins at the back and an orange glass flame.
  4. The alien's head is a lime ball 5 blocks wide. Give it three black eyes in a row and one antenna sticking straight up. Blue wool makes his little space suit.
  5. Glowstone around the edge of the sign makes marquee lights. Switch to Night and the whole car park glows like a real pizza restaurant.
