How to build Mutt Cutts Shaggin' Wagon in Minecraft

The most embarrassing van ever to make it to Aspen: a dog-grooming van covered head to tail in shaggy sheepdog fur. It has a grey rump and a white front, a tufty tail sticking up at the back, floppy grey ears, a big black nose, eyes hidden under a fringe and a long pink tongue that hangs out of its mouth almost to the road. It is parked at a tiny snowy gas stop under a green highway sign pointing the way to ASPEN. Wipe the slobber off before you fill up.

Building tips

  1. Build the van as a plain box first (15 long, 7 wide, 9 tall) and only then "groom" it. The fur is just a mix of wool colours: grey toward the back, white toward the front.
  2. Shagginess comes from bumps. Stick single wool blocks out of the sides and roof here and there, and put carpet tufts on the roof. Random is good, so do not make it neat.
  3. The head is a squashed ball of white wool on the hood. Hang the ears down the sides with grey wool, then pull a row of white wool forward over the eyes as a fringe.
  4. The tongue is three blocks wide: pink with a magenta stripe down the middle. Run it forward out of the mouth, then drop it straight down so it nearly drags on the road.
  5. Sea lanterns under the canopy and in the headlights make the gas stop glow at Night. Try it.
